What we fix
Ten kinds of work, from a quick Freon fill to a transmission replacement. Each one below says what to watch for, what the job covers, and what customers have said about it.
Stopping power
Brakes
Brake pads wear a little with every stop, and the system gives plenty of warning before it fails. A brake service starts with an inspection, so you hear what is actually worn and what still has life, and you get a price before any work begins.
I paid a really fair and decent price to have my brake pads replaced. Much cheaper than I was quoted at some of the chain tire businesses!
Signs it's time
- Squealing, scraping or grinding when you stop
- A soft or sinking brake pedal
- The vehicle pulls to one side under braking
- Steering wheel or pedal shakes when you slow down
- The brake warning light is on
What's covered
- Brake pad replacement
- Inspection of rotors, calipers and brake lines
- Brake fluid check
- Road test to confirm the pedal feels right
Tires & wheels
Tires & flat repair
Your tires are the only part of the vehicle that touches the road, so a nail, a slow leak or worn tread is worth dealing with early. The shop repairs flats, sells new tires for cars and trucks, and can usually tell you on the spot whether a tire is worth patching or time to replace.
Fast service and great selection for tires for my Camry! So thankful I heard of these guys!
Signs it's time
- A nail or screw in the tread, or a tire that keeps losing air
- Tread worn down to the wear bars
- Bulges, cracks or bald spots on the sidewall or tread
- Uneven wear across a tire
- A tire that went flat and will not hold air
What's covered
- Flat tire repair
- New tire sales and installation
- Tire rotation
- Pressure and tread checks
Steering & suspension
Wheel alignment
Alignment sets the angles of your wheels so the vehicle tracks straight and the tires wear evenly. A bump with a curb, a pothole or a set of new tires is enough to knock it out. The shop does alignments on all makes and models.
friendly staff and very good on alignment. they do all makes and models alignments
Signs it's time
- The vehicle drifts or pulls to one side
- The steering wheel sits off-center on a straight road
- Tires wear faster on the inside or outside edge
- You recently hit a curb or a deep pothole
- You just had new tires or suspension work done
What's covered
- Alignment on all makes and models
- Checking wheel angles against the vehicle's specifications
- Adjustment to bring the angles back in range
- A check of tire wear patterns that point to other problems
Comfort
A/C & Freon
When the air conditioning stops blowing cold, the cause can be as simple as low refrigerant or as involved as a failed condenser or evaporator. Several parts can produce the same symptom, so the work begins with finding out which one it is. Freon checks and fills are quick.
I got there early to get my Freon checked and filled. They had me done in 20-25 minutes.
Signs it's time
- Air from the vents is warm or only slightly cool
- Weak airflow from the vents
- A hissing sound or an odd smell when the A/C runs
- The A/C cools at highway speed but not at idle
- It worked fine last summer and is not working now
What's covered
- Freon (refrigerant) check and fill
- Pressure testing and leak diagnosis
- Condenser replacement
- Evaporator replacement
Engine
Check engine light & diagnostics
A lit check engine light tells you something is wrong, not what. A trouble code points at a system, and the real cause still has to be found. The shop reads the codes, tests to find the cause, and gives you an estimate and a timeline before doing the repair.
They diagnosed my problem quick, gave me an estimate and told me when it'd be done, and they were right on the money with all of it.
Signs it's time
- The check engine or service engine light is on or flashing
- The engine hesitates when you accelerate
- Rough idle or stalling
- Fuel economy has dropped
- The engine runs differently than it used to
What's covered
- Reading and interpreting trouble codes
- Testing to confirm the cause before parts are replaced
- A clear estimate and completion time
- Repair once you approve the work
Engine
Engine & cooling system
Overheating, leaks and engine noises get worse the longer they run. The shop handles the common repairs that keep an engine cool and sealed, from a water pump or thermostat to gaskets and exhaust leaks, and it replaces motors when a repair no longer makes sense.
They did a great job of replacing the water pump in February. Alex is thorough! He knows what he's doing & is always very helpful.
Signs it's time
- The temperature gauge climbs or the engine overheats
- Coolant puddles or a sweet smell under the hood
- The heater blows cool air
- Oil spots where you park
- Popping, ticking or an exhaust leak sound
What's covered
- Water pump replacement
- Thermostat replacement
- Gasket and oil leak repair
- Exhaust header leaks
- Motor replacement
Drivetrain
Transmission
Transmission trouble is one of the repairs people fear most because of the bill. It helps to have a shop that diagnoses first and explains your options. The shop repairs transmissions and replaces them when that is the better choice.
I used them to replace my transmission, and [they] gave me fair and honest service.
Signs it's time
- The transmission slips or the engine revs without the vehicle speeding up
- Delayed or hard shifts
- A burning smell or dark transmission fluid
- Fluid leaking under the vehicle
- Warning lights along with shifting problems
What's covered
- Transmission diagnosis
- Transmission repair
- Transmission replacement
- A plain explanation of repair versus replace
Maintenance
Oil changes & routine maintenance
Regular service is the cheapest repair there is. Oil changes and routine checks catch small problems while they are still small, and they keep a daily driver or a work truck on the road.
I've always had my truck worked on here. Staff very professional and friendly and reasonable!
Signs it's time
- You are at or past your oil change interval
- Oil on the dipstick is dark or gritty
- A road trip is coming up
- You bought a used vehicle and want it looked over
- It has been a while since anyone checked the fluids
What's covered
- Oil and filter changes
- Fluid level checks
- General inspection
- Advice on what can wait and what cannot
Electrical
Electrical & small fixes
Not every problem is a big one. A stuck switch, a dead light or an accessory that quit can be a quick fix, and the shop would rather fix a small problem quickly than turn it into a big job. If you are not sure whether something is worth bringing in, call and describe it.
My hazard lights was stuck on and I couldn't get them to turn back off. This man got the button unstuck for me within 5 minutes and didnt charge me a dime!

- Hard starting or a weak battery
What's covered
- Switches and controls
- Lights
- Battery and charging checks
- Quick diagnosis of small electrical problems
